An effective and credible polygraph report — while not admissible in the court room or at trial — will help convince a prosecutor to drop or reduce charges. On the other hand, if a client fails a polygraph, we are not necessarily required to turn it over to the prosecution as evidence.

In cases which proceed to trial, Mr. Abt is also able to use an arsenal of expert witnesses to assist in the defense of each case. For example, in DUI trials, Mr. Abt hires a former DUI task force officer to critique and discredit the arresting officer in the case, thereby proving that any field sobriety tests and breath tests were improperly administered. E. Jay Abt has also used experts in ballistics, fingerprinting and DNA to help defend his clients and get the absolute best results.
